History of Heller Chocolates
Since eighty years from now the firm Heller-Chocolates produces chocolate specialities in their own manufacture.In the meanwhile about 50 chocolate creams are offered. All of these products are fabricated out of superior ingredients of confiserie like marzipan, nougat,chocolate, almonds, nuts and exquisite liquors are added. They are all manufactured highly qualified and with a favour for detail. Only pure ingredients are used, and there is no addition of preservatives.
In the year 1920 Alois Heller opened shops in Frankfurt in the Freßgass´ and in the Kaiserstraße.At the beginning of the thirties the production was transferred to Oberursel. The years of the war brought limitations of production and at least due to raw material shortage the temporary closing.  
The son of the founder was killed in the war and therefore the grandchild Wolfgang Ruzicka has to familiarize with the manufacturing of chocolate. After years of apprenticeship in Cafe´Kranzler he then took over the business.

In the year 1965 the great chance came to open a shop in the center of Oberursel in "House Döhringer". But in 1969 the store was already too small and one moved to Kumeliusstraße near cinema Capitol into larger premises.

1986 Wolfgang Ruzicka the master of confectionary died unexpected. His wife now took over the administration and management of the enterprise , being sure that her son Christian - in fourth generation - will continue the chocolate production of his father.

1990 the company Heller-Chocolates moved into their own localities in Kumeliusstraße.

Since 1994 the Junior Christian Ruzicka has his examination for the title of master and offers additional to the already well-known assortment of chocolate -creams delicious cakes for various occasions.
